01 - GENERAL WARRANTY  

At Wristfield we guarantee that all of our products are made with the highest quality materials /plastics, printing inks, textiles/. Because of this, if they are used properly, according to the general guidance /this varies with each product/ they function perfectly.
The general warranty also applies to fast and skilled administration. Clear and full description of the prices, without hidden costs.
At Wristfield all wristbands are made solely in the ordered quantity. We deliver the full quantity to the customer. If there is any suspicion about the identity of the person placing the order, for a specific event, we contact the event managers immediately and decline the fulfilment of the unauthorized order.

Before the end of the event, we do not publish the design/colours of the wristbands in any form. The customer is responsible for the copyright and for any damage done caused by the usage of these graphics. Invoices made by us fulfil all UK and EU regulations. In the case of all sales made outside the UK, but inside the EU we verify the VAT number of each company, and we make the invoice according to the eligibility of that company. We handle all customer details confidentially, we do not give them out to any third party. Orders that were paid, but for some reason not completed, are refunded as soon as possible.

 

What does the general usage guidance include?

The wristbands and the imprints made by us are waterproof. Some products have longer warranty periods, this is mentioned in each product listed below. The warranty period is counted from the date of purchase. The warranty applies solely to products that are used according to this guidance and if the wristbands are stored according to our usage guide /inside boxes, between 18 – 25 ºC temperature/.

Tyvek: The wristbands must be torn off from the sheets sideways. If they are torn in the vertical direction, small splits can appear on the edge of the wristbands. The cover protecting the sticky surface has to be removed, then the wristband should be put around the wrist /not too tight/ connecting the sticky surface to the other end of the band. The full sticky surface has to be on the wristband, otherwise, the wristband can stick to the skin.

Plastic & Vinyl: The wristbands are wrapped around the wrist and adjusted to size /not too tight/ and the clip is inserted in the nearest hole on the band. We click the clip together and check that it is closing correctly.

Textile /rings/: The wristbands are put on the wrist and pulling the closure ring up, adjusting the band to the size of the wrist while making sure it is not too tight. In the case of the metal rings, after pulling the rings up using a special /designed for this purpose/ climping tool we secure the rings, so they can not be removed.

Textile /clips/: The wristbands are put around the wrist and adjusted to size /not too tight/ and the clip is inserted in the nearest hole on the band. We click the clip together and check that it is closing correctly.
 

Exceptions from the warranty!

The wristbands quality, durability, if they are not used according to the general guidance.

After the package is given to the courier company, we cannot guarantee the delivery date is fulfilled by the courier company. Delays caused in the delivery can be due to a mistake made by the courier company, weather conditions or natural disasters. We cannot guarantee the condition of the package. In every case it is very important to check the content of the package while the courier is present.

Without the missing item report signed by the courier we cannot accept complaints regarding the quantity of the wristbands.

The warranty does not apply to the case that the customer refuses to open the door and receive the package /does not respond to the phone call made by the courier either/ and if the package is not delivered because of this after several attempts. In this case, the price of the delivery will have to be paid again.

We cannot guarantee that the package will be received by the designated person, as anybody at the given address can sign for the package according to the Terms & Conditions of the courier companies. If you are worried that unauthorised personnel will sign for the package, please contact the courier company before the delivery and discuss the terms of delivery.

We cannot guarantee the quality of the printing if the design/artwork sent by the customer does not match our minimal requirements.

 

02 - WARRANTY TERMS BREAK DOWN FOR PRODUCTS

Tyvek

100% warranty: 

– The wristbands and imprints are waterproof.
– Additional information can be written on the bands with permanent markers.
– The wristbands have clear, unique serial numbers by default and this does not mean additional costs to the customer.
– After correctly sticking the wristband's sticky surface to the other end of the band, it cannot be removed without damaging the security surface of the wristband. One time use.
– Design placed inside the visible area shown by us on the proof of the design will stay visible after putting the wristbands on an average adult wrist.
– the ordered designs will be in good quality and readable form on the wristbands if the designs/artwork sent by the customer matches our minimal requirements.

What we can not guarantee:

– We cannot guarantee that the wristbands are non-transferable if they were put on incorrectly.
– If placed on too tight we cannot guarantee that the wristband will be comfortable to wear
– The durability of any additional information written on the band with non-permanent markers.
– The visibility of the designs placed outside the visible area after placement onto the wrist.
– The shade of the wristbands colours will match the colour on the screen of the computer at the moment of the order. The wristbands are not made according to colour codes, the colour what the customer sees depends on the quality and settings of the computer screen.
– We cannot guarantee the readability of the design/artwork sent by the customer for customization if it does not match our minimal requirements
– The visibility of the graphical elements can not be guaranteed if they are t
hinner than 1mm.

– We cannot guarantee that the wristbands are non-transferable if they were put on incorrectly.
– If placed on too tight we cannot guarantee that the wristband will be comfortable to wear.

– The wristbands and imprints are waterproof.
– After closing the closure correctly the bands are non-transferable.
– Colours and colour shades ordered using colour codes will be the same in printing as in the official Pantone or CMYK scales.
– The ordered designs will be in good quality and readable form on the wristbands if the designs/artwork sent by the customer matches our minimal requirements.

What we can not guarantee:

– That the colours will be the same on the customer's screen and on the finished product, as this is dependent on the computer screens quality and settings. The colour shades on the proof of designs depending on the screen settings.
– We cannot guarantee the readability of the design/artwork sent by the customer for customization if it does not match our minimal requirements.
– If the rings are pulled on too tight when placing the wristbands on the wrist we cannot guarantee that the wristbands will be comfortable to wear.
– The visibility of graphical elements 
cannot be guaranteed if they are thinner than 1mm.

 

03 - WHAT STEPS DOES WRISTFIELD TAKE IN CASE OF A PROBLEM

In the case of all complaints that come to Wristfield, we require the products to be returned for inspection and we will determine whether or not the warranty is applicable in the specific case. In case of a rightful complaint the customer can ask for an exchange, price discount or can cancel the order. As these products are personalised the customer does not have the right to cancel an order after approving the proof of the design. If a product is found faulty by Wristfield, we issue an exchange for the same type of product or an alternative product of the same total value. In this case, Wristfield undertakes all emerging costs of the customization and delivery of the new products, but the cost of the returning of faulty goods is paid by the customer. The warranty covers the value of the initial order.

The terms of the warranty enforcement

As the warranty period starts from the date of purchase, the original invoice or receipt provided by the website is also used as a warranty certificate.

 

04 - EXCEPTIONS

The warranty does not apply to products, that were not correctly stored, or used incorrectly, were used not according to our general guidance, were modified, or were cleaned incorrectly using a non-appropriate method or detergent. The warranty does not apply to abrasion caused by normal usage, attrition, cuts or scratches, damage caused by hitting or accidents. The warranty is not applicable if the products were stored outside or in a humid environment. The warranty does not apply to indirect or other types of injuries caused by inattention. The warranty applies to the original order only, it is not transferable. All additional details can be found in the warranty breakdown for products and the general warranty terms sections. 
 

User Guide

The warranty only applies to the products, if the customer follows all guidance in the user guide supplied for the products, which can be found in the package the wristbands are delivered in.

 

05 - DELIVERY

The wristbands that are not customized are given to the courier the same day if we receive the payment or a valid proof of payment /before 12:00 am same day /.
In case of customized wristbands after the receipt of the payment and approval of the artwork in the next 24 hours /with express printing/ or after 3 working days /with standard printing/, or by the deadline confirmed with us we will give the package to the courier.

After sending the package, the customer receives the tracking details from us, which can be used to track the package on the website of the courier company.

The package is sent to the „delivery” address given by the customer.

The wristbands are packaged into perfect quality boxes and envelopes before being given to the couriers, free of wrinkles. The address will be clearly shown, according to the requirements of the courier companies.

What do you have to do, if you need help?

Contact Wristfield. You can find the address and phone number on our website and also on the invoice for your order. Keep the invoice in any case, as this is the proof of your purchase. To apply for the warranty you need to prove the purchase. 
 

If you changed your mind…

Risk-free shopping for non-customized products only with us. If you changed your mind after placing an order, /for non-customized products/ you can return all non-used products to us within 30 days / 60 days for club members/ in the original packaging, intact with the receipt or invoice and we will exchange or refund the full amount of the order /except for the returning postage costs/. 
 

Quality test

Almost all Wristfield wristbands and most of the accessories are tested according to European and other international standards. During the testing process, the wristbands were used in real life environments and situations to guarantee they will be durable and safe to use.
